If you decide to try the nike balls to help with the meter, please note that there are two different speeds. The lower lvl nikes have 3 dots (47 48), the upper lvl nikes (80 81) have 3 and half dots. You may have to experiment and see what speed you require to ding the shots. Also the more spin the ball has or you apply will cause more deviation in the shot. Especially in windy conditions. Have fun!

The meter speed just becomes 2nd nature......Pick your set on what you want out of them ?

    WeidaDeNei:

I couldn't find a similar thread in my searches unfortunately.

It is currently back at the top of page 4 of this section of the forum;  link to thread.

I used the Callaway L33 iS, then the L48 Nike, and now the L71 Nike. I have some leftover Callaway and L48 Nike balls that I use every so often, and I have had the L79 Bladez for awhile now. Great clubs IMO, they translate really well for me, and do so consistently. Yes, the meter speed can be a bit fast at first. However, I have used the Cleveland wedges since I could first buy them, and the meter speed of the Bladez is the same as the Clevelands. Works for me, though I wish the forgiveness for the Bladez was a little higher, even half a dot would be great.

The L71 Nike balls just work for me. Anytime I feel that the meter is feeling fast, I will switch to the starter balls, find a few friends to do the same, and go play some "Best of Par 3" rounds or Blitzes. Lots of fun, and when I go back to the Nike balls, the Bladez' meter seems quite a bit slower.

Thank you for finding the thread for me! Soo... I have come to the conclusion I will save the credits and use them to just switch balls. I love the callaway s but if I want to be the best I can be I should move on up in the world. I just hope the difference in distance isn't so much that it messes with my numbers... But I think I am going to have to start from scratch on that note which is a headache to think about. Flavor of the week I guess. Thank you all for the input!

I've tried all 3 sets G20's, Bladez, & R11's. I always come back to the Bladez. If I could keep up to the R11's that would be my choice, but, alas I'm too slow for them.
