Level 95, two years around, Tour Master - what equipment do you hide behind the Starters? How much knowledge do you hide behind such naive question?

First thought: Go to the Pro Shop, open the different categories at their last page, start thinking from top down.

    2) Thinking "purchase advisory service":

What do you prefer: Competitive performance or comfort (slow meter)?

How many credits do you want to spend?

Given you level there are lots of options, and what ever choice you make there will be an adjustment period from your current clubs. I would recommend that you set up some practice rounds on low wind, and chart your new distances etc, i.e. 3I with not spin, then with full back spin etc. This will help you game immensely.

There are 2 obvious options for you, either the G20's or the R11's sets, G20s are cheaper and have a slower meter than the R11's. I know plenty of players who use the G20's even after making Legend, though majority of Legends play the R11's for there superior stopping power on approach shots.

Buy either as a set, will be cheaper than buying each item individually, plus you can then sell back the hybrid.

In terms of wedges,  would suggest three, plenty of options here, but look to keep all your meter speeds as close as possible. also price is a big factor here, big difference between the Ping tour 20's and the ATV's, basically 5 times dearer.

In terms of putters, i see you have bought one, if you are happy with it don't change, if you aren't consider meter speed, and whether you are a ding or miss ding putter, some are better suited than others. If you search in equipment thread, lots of posts round putters.

    cheers

    Not very helpful at all.

Did you find your post helpful to the OP?

You two know what clubs Tour Masters use. What's with the inane responses?

You must be new to Mr Geahry's games. He makes newb posts everyday and seems to love it when people take the trouble to give helpful replies. Here he has taken the trouble to hide his usual clubs to make this one more believable. Last week he threatened to quit just to get attention. I just think it's all rather sad.

IMHO it's safe to say that there will be the clubs in question.

Furtheron, I'm glad that you ignored the second part of my post to justify your biased statement. Makes it easy to forget about it soon.

I'm sure that the OP should know which clubs to use. Further help available after further input from him.

As Courteney alluded, perhaps the OP needs help, however here is my take on the "help" he needs. Having done a quick scan of his scores over the last 50 games, he has broken par perhaps 7-8 times, usually by one shot.

So whatever clubs the OP is using are poorly suited, or he does not know how to use them. At level 95 and still a long way off Legends tees at this rate of progress, I think he clearly does need help (and I say this in the nicest possible way).

Hit me up for a game Geahry with your normal clubs and we can try to assess where you are going wrong (practice mode is fine).

But on a sterner note, don't waste peoples time by acting like you only have starters clubs - if thats the case I would be hitting you up for advice lol.

    Edit, even sent friend invite
