    New poster here, hi all.

Just a quick question. According to the WGT Tournament rules, it is legal to compete in online, skill-based games/competitions for money (http://www.wgt.com/help.aspx#countries). In the US, it is illegal to compete in Montana, Vermont, and Tennessee.

I play on another website for another game and their tournament rules state that its illegal to compete in skill-based games/competitions in Vermont, Arizona, Maryland, Connecticut, and North Dakota. This too, is a skill-based game just like WGT.

Any clarification? What was the last time the tournament rules on WGT were updated? And are there any sources that I can find evidence from?

    Thanks.

Hi, I don't really know much detail on the subject to give you a full answer, but just wanted to point out that WGT players cannot cash out their earned credits for money.  So maybe different rules apply?   And the rules are probably just as convoluted as on other sites where you can earn actual cash.  -Keith

    Hi

I don't have any sources for you to check but I know that we actively update these.

Different games have different elements, so I suppose there maybe law differences as well.
