How can one get to legend so easy?

  Just curious as to how one can get to be a level 67 legend with these stats? Not accusing anyone of anything just want to understand;;

  As you can see there is nothing to merit legend status after so few rounds     Al.

  Wow would beating a legend 14 times out of 27 really catapult you up that quick?

  Not really . What they do , is get their buddies in the CC to play for credits , and throw them rounds . In return , they gift items from the pro shop . After enough rounds , they get booted up to the appropriate tiers. These are the players that I call Chop Shop Legends . They think its cool to be a Legend , until they see that they dont have either the skills , or clubs to play from the tips. Then they start crying, because they want to get the better clubs , just because they made Legend .

  Right, right that makes real sense. Don"t understand the rush to become legend. You miss out on a big learning curb and (like you said) start moaning when they don"t understand courses and are really under-equipped with clubs and knowledge.

  All adds up a bit more now....

  I never even knew match play could level you up to Legend until I actually hit Legend.  I worked hard to hit Legend and hit it about level 79 with a crappy driver and 3 wood.  I had to wait until level 81 to reduce the pain of a 1 pixel miss hit being 30 yards off line in the rough with both my driver and 3 wood.  Now they have drivers and 3 woods that are almost impossible to miss the line with, especially that level 98 driver.

  It really is frustrating that people can use that level 98 driver as a legend and go 7+ yards more than me, making more par 5 eagle chances and having a closer approach on every hole.  I also would like to know just how much better the level 90 R11 irons are better than my 79 rocketbladez.

  Now I'm at the point where there seems to be no benefit of advancing to a Tour Legend so why should I even work for it?  If we could get the best clubs only at Tour Legend then you can bet I would be working extremely hard to get there, but until then it will be 1-2 years before I can even get the best driver and then possibly I'll work for Tour Legend.

  I play for even and fair competition not this bs where it's about who's played more rounds over the years to get better equipment.  It's like getting an extra 300 hp in a racing series because you have been there longer and everyone else has to just deal with it.

  I played no stroke play game as TM . only played in alt games. Then suddenly i thought i can play MP , challenged few legend in 20 games , i become legend. Now i am working on TL title. Once i get r11 i can beat them.

  Thanks for posting my stats on the public forum, Al. 

  To answer those speculating about how I made Legend so quickly, I am a 25 year old female, and the niece of a Legend player.  He has been my legal guardian since I was 15 and since I moved back home from college, got me to join WGT.  He has helped me along in the early rounds, and gave me his stats which he uses when he plays.

  I am a college graduate with a BS degree in Computer Engineering and Chemical Engineering.  I graduated Summa *** Laude, so I didn't get that "full college experience" so many do.  While others were hanging out on weekends enjoying a cold brew, I had my nose in a textbook.  

  I also hold a black belt in Kung Fu and Karate.  I'm not your "ditzy blonde stereotype", yet I do have my so-called "blonde moments" on occasion, mostly when I find myself in a hurry.

  In real golf, I'm a scratch golfer from the reds, but play from the white or blue tees, depending on the course's slope.  Nothing's worse than giving 18 strokes to a high-handicapped player in net skins.  I love the side games of Nassau, skins, best 3 of 4, fox/rabbit/squirrel along with several others.

  I have never taken to cheating.  I find it extremely insulting that some of you think I have.  Golf is a game of honor.  You get out of it what you put into it.  I have employed the habits I use in real golf to this game, and it has helped.  I've documented several of the WGT courses; how the ball breaks when it hits the green and how much it rolls.  Most of my poor stats have come from my lower tier days.  I hope someday to even be able to compete with your stats, Al.  

  I am not a "restarter", I have been fortunate enough to be able to play with higher tiered players from the very beginning.  I also was fortunate enough to get a CC invite from day 1, and have made several Tour Master and Legend golfers my friends, who were kind enough to help me out.

  I also have not had my CC buddies throw rounds so I could win.  Every win I've had in Match play and CC tournament play I've earned.  Remember when I mentioned "honor"?  Since you didn't know me, I will forgive.

  I was not in a big rush to make Legend ... I just don't enjoy playing god on any golf course; be it real or virtual.  All of my stroke play games have been "ranked" and every match play game I've setup has been scored.  In real golf, I am a proud member of the USGA and the SCGA, so I post every round of golf I play and never take mulligans!  It seems like playing this way, instead of the "don't score practice" rounds elevated me quickly.  I stopped playing my CC tournaments in hopes to not advance to Tour Master then Legend so quickly and assumed incorrectly that playing scored match rounds wouldn't count towards my average.  Man was I wrong.  I got the bad news after beating a Legend player in a scored match play game.

  It's really sad when I read about someone ragging on a good player for playing well, instead of sharing ways they can still improve.  Based on your stats, Al, you would be one that could give extremely sound advice to the younger players. It's sad you chose to discourage talent.  I've never done or said anything towards you.
