The
new features that arrived with this update.
Two New Meters - We’ve introduced 2 new Experimental
WGT Swing Meter options for players to try out and provide early feedback.
From the “Equip Clubs”
screen, you can choose from the 3 available swing meters:
- Original - the
horizontal swing meter that players currently use
- Vertical - a vertical
design in the center of the screen that may be easier for newer players
- 3-Click - a little
nostalgia for long-time golf gamers, less power control but better swing
tempo
The new swing meters are
experiments awaiting feedback on what players like and don’t like. Changing the
WGT Swing Meter is purely optional and free. And note that like clubs and
balls, swing meters must be selected before a round and cannot be changed
during a round.
We have been playing
around with the new swing meters the past few of days and I am quite
impressed. They are quite a change from the original but we have come to
find I like them a lot. We recommend you play these in practice rounds
exclusively until you are comfortable with them. These are experimental,
so any feedback that players have, is greatly appreciated. As the
feedback starts coming in some tweaks may be made.
Also,
Limited
Edition Black R1 Driver – The latest driver from Taylormade. It looks as
nice in person as it does online. The new Black R1 Driver has a level
requirement of L93, while the White version is L98. The lower level
version of the driver will still be the same with a requirement level of 11 and
48.
Country
club improvements - Merion full course and CTTH now available, Single Round
CTTH tournaments, Tiered tournaments. Players have been asking for these
upgrades and they are finally here.
New branded
tournaments starting in July – More information to come about these tournaments
in the coming days. But from what I have seen so far they should be a lot
of fun.
I
hope everyone enjoys the new changes and if you have any questions please feel
free to contact us.
