The one thing I like is the word Original on the flat one. Each letter can be used as a marker for distances. I found the upright one can get in the way sometimes when putting but I guess some people will prefer it and more options has to be a good thing.

    Short test, short report:

    - 3-click: Too fast, too dynamic - how do you want to putt 36% precisely?

    - vertical: nothing but negative issues:

      = moving position,
= comes in the way as Courteney stated,
= enforces use of shot pal / putter pal - my cost-effective paper pal is not applicable

    Conclusion: Back to the original!

The vertical one made me seasick.

I have a hard time getting dings, so the new horizontal one would mean that I would miss it 3 times.

Yes. The avatar moves are at the R and the N. This should make it quite nice to get an exact backswing instead of guessing between the moves. Should provide a few gamer rants. :-)

No avatar moves on the 3 click swing kill it for me but I did find it just like Links version and quite easy to master.

The vertical one drove me nuts! LOL. At first I thought there was a bug because no meter shows at all on the page. You have to mouse over the club to get it and it's in the way on the green. Turning the lappy in its side doesn't help too much.  :-D

I said this yesterday after looking at the meter. It was round. I swear it was round. Well, it ain't anymore and I rather like it now. They turned it into the original meter with the 3 click function overnight and it's vastly improved.  :-)

am I the only one that thinks it slows down before the ding , thereby making it easier to ding ?

even with all the stutters on the backswing?
