I was wondering why WGT doesn't have Titliest Pro V1's or the V1x?.  Also, there's absolutely no Bridgestones.  And why is the TaylorMade Lethal ball only offered at level 11, since it is TaylorMade's top golf ball (replacing the Penta TP5)?

I've found the Nike ball in real golf to be about as good as the TaylorMade Penta TP3, yet it's the best ball here.  Just curious if there's any plans to add some of the balls most of the top pros use and/or add another Lethal that plays like the Lethal in real life ... maybe offered to Master level +?  The current Lethal isn't much better than your starter ball, even though it should be competing with the Nike!

Here's one more idea for you regarding golf balls.  How about allowing the player to add their CC logo to the ball for a nominal fee, then give some of those credits back to the CC for prize distribution?  I feel for every CC owner here that gifts awards to their members out of their own pocket.

I'm sure it has to do with working out a contract with the manufacturers in making those items available.  I'm sure it isn't because they don't want to.  my nickle.

+1. Purely legalities. I also personally think that Titleist possible do not want to their brand to be tarnished by a computer game. Pity as they do make the best balls IMO.

im sure that would meen introducing better balls then the nikes

would not be a good idea

Plus im sure nike will have some sort of agreement that they would be the top performance ball here on wgt in the contract some where.

    :)

    +1 Mike!

I for one differentiate between the physical parameters of golfing equipment and the items given to us in this online game. I don't really care which brand they use to cover a bunch of software parameters. I don't buy a name but game characteristics, and I value virtual performance and price, not

    lvl 33 Callaway:
the perfect combination of Tour player feedback and R&D excellence

    or

    lvl 81 Nike RZN:
    revolutionary RZN Core

(more nonsense in the clubs department)

So true. Even in real golf I tend to change balls depending on price - I buy in 4 dozen lots and swap between a few favorites depending on the sale price.

Wouldn't it be nice to get a discount price for buying in bulk on here too?

I also agree about the ball quality on here, do we need better balls to further reduce scores?

A Scottish friend of mine only has one golf ball, he never lets it out of his sight. It's a good strategy.

And FWIW a lot of the RL fuss is also OTT -  IMO:
