  For the GODDDDDDDAAMMMM   MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...  seriously... thank you very much...  just put the windmill in this game and get it over with...

   

  Managed to qualify for the Open, and -9 thru 13... and... yup.... MMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

   

  Out of bounds on 14... WWHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOO  KKKKKKKNNEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!  

  Seriously... what are the odds of me taking it up the azzzzz in a tournament... SUCK IT...  I am looking for something else to waste my money... this is a joke...

  CM.......I just went through a rough couple of meter days with my 4 yo laptop...took it apart (after so many other things) cleaned my CPU fan up...and found the vents clogged...mercy, mom would whack for the dust bunnies in there:)

   

  Now ..CPU sits at 105 all day, fan doesn't even come on...might be worth a look...ps...no more stutters:)

  I believe that Olympic you need to be long and at Merion you have to be straight. A difficult feat when your laptop fails you. That damn ytimg.com can kill any round. i have my standard cookie cleaner ready and a separate cookie cleaner for backup but sometimes i'm ready to pack it in - any suggestions and i'm open

  I took apart my 2nd hand macbook and found that someone had snapped the thermal sensor wire, replace this part cleaned the dust added some new thermal paste and no more fan kiciking in :)

  Keep your software & hardware clean & serviced & these type things rarely happen. Either blow or vacuum out your fan area.  Dust is the 2nd worst enemy of electronics next to moisture due the heat buildup.  This causes the cpu to work harder & things may go awry. Can of compressed air can do wonders.  Or computer goo.  Love that stuff!

  If you're comfortable taking the casing off the tower (I would never take apart a laptop) you can access it to clean it much easier. Be careful in there.

  Make sure you've cleared all your caches since the recent update to avoid corrupt material. Change version of flash if you're having issues with loading or stutter. Try different browser/flash combos.  Older flash versions are usually most stable. Have a good security system.

  Just make sure everything is up to date & operating within parameters, cleanly & cooly, & should be smooth swinging.     :-)

  Please, some one explain this.....

  When the update came out on Monday and WGT released the new 3 meters, i posted in one of my posts that I've never seen the meter so smooth. It was a pleasure to play, silky smooth with not a single pause or skip all day.  Next day when i played, the meterf was back to normal, or even WORSE.  Much more pauses and skips and Its then been the same all week.  How can WGT give us a perfectly smooth meter the day the update came out. (even posted that i think WGT have sorted the meter at last!!) then the next few days Its gone back to 5hit meter???  Coincidence??  or is the meter really part of the game now.  WGT CAN give us a smooth meter if they wanted, but now with such low scores, wgt have added a jumpy meter to act like a "miss hit/slice" just like pros do occasionally. And to keep their ball income rolling in.  I just cant get It that on Monday my meter was so smooth It was very noticeable, but after its back to being skippy the kangaroo

  I have found that on certain holes....the ones where you know u gotta hit nigh on perfect....my meter starts playing up....STA17 certainly comes to mind

  Tee shot on that hole, I usually swing & let it go thru the motions a few times to check it out, stutter stutter then i get the instruction telling me how to hit , which pees me off even more lol...finally i throw caution to the headwind & bang...looks good till it hits the rough

  Then i gotta do it all over again for my 2nd, 3rd, 4th,5th or even 6th shot !!!

  I for one have definitely noticed meter problems on the hard holes

  Maybe its an inbuilt thing on WGT, but i have learnt to expect it

  Really pi$$ed off today with meter,and i'm 1 who never has any problems,playing st andrews  monthly comp,I make a hole in 1 on 8 to go -7 thru 8,9 driveable par 4 with 18 wind helping meter stops an inch from line into 50/60 fescue manage to save par but more than likely a shot gone,hole 10 it does it again 50/60 fescue miss putt for par so only -6 thru 10 instead of maybe -9 thru 10,then it stutters almost every hole coming in some I let go and swing again,managed to get in -10 but feel my low round ever was there only to be snatched away.
