WOW!!, everytime I play a tournament anymore and do good I wind up with an unrealistic average.

All started when I shot a 14 under par 40 on an 18 hole Best of Par 3 tourney where I was a 64 going in and a 53 afterwards.

Today I had a 65 average going in after getting it back up there from that 53 by shooting some ridiculous 9 hole rounds just to try to get it back to where it's fair, shot a 61 today in an 18 hole par 71 tourney and after wound up with a 51.37. I wrote to support after that par 3 tourney and they said it's to combat sandbaggers...how can you have such and average let alone be accused of sandbagging.

I don't know what to do, just because I practice everyday, work very very hard to understand this games quirks and spend lots on good balls in doing so and now I'm considered better than my real average?

Lucy you got some splaining to do. Best I ever got was a 61. Then I played my first scored round as a Legend. Enjoy that avg. awesome. Have fun with it.

You'll tier up soon. That's how the game works. Just don't worry about it.

From your stats it doesn't look like you've saturated your ranked rounds yet, but I was always under the impression par 3's didn't count towards your average , maybe tournaments do ????????

There's something wrong in the system.

Ronnie has 17 Master scores which should all count, and the mean value of the scores is 53 opposed to the average indication of 51.

And I didn't double the 9 hole scores...

Edit: Didn't look into it closely enough in the first place - see my next post.

I just checked your score history and saw a 65 on a nine hole par 3 round?  If that is the way to get your score back up then it should be up pretty quick.

I was under the impression that the par 3 scores were not being counted as a part of your average calculation, however I did hear someone mentioned that in the early days of the par 3 course that a few rounds might get counted.  If so that sort of sucks and should be fixed by WGT.

I have long ago given up making any attempt to figure out how WGT does any type of scoring averages.  I'm at a point now where my scores have maxed out so it's only a slow tick down from here no matter what I shoot.  I'm not sure that should be the case, because it basically means that you will eventually become a tour legend.

Thats exactly how I did it, shot some goofy high 9 hole par 3 rounds just to have a somewhat close to real average.

I had a 40, 44 and 45 during the WGT Nation 18 hole best of par 3 tourn which was a par 54, I think they counted those scores as if they were par 72 18 hole rounds.

When I tier up to Tour Master will the stats reset?

BTW,  a sleeve of RZN vapor balls will get you my autograph!
