I am at the very bottom of level 92, at least 115,000 xp's to go, but I will do it, and buy the R1.

3 days in and I am down to 104,000, so I will be 50,000 away at end of July, all being well.

Once you get to that number then the finishing line is in sight, and will easily be achieved.

Good luck to everyone else in the same position.

You need a friendly and co-operative CC owner like what I have.

    Kudos Mreddy

Yep...... nervous times for us Level 92'ers ! LOL.

I guess we have to assume the cut off point is the end of August ? If it's any longer, then it's a bonus.

LOL. Does anybody doubt WGT's strategy with this driver sale now?

Forge ahead, peoples, it's worth the effort.  :-)

Interesting side note. I play a lot of AS and used to have a tiny advantage on some holes-nothing major. Foursome last night with me being the only +98 level-everybody had the R1. Fun match with a lot of good comparisons on how to hit it.  :-)

This information is inofficial, and "end" might be rather an array of days than a single date.

Ms. Fish might be so kind as to tell us her informations precisely(?)

A ray of hope for those still striving for L93 is that summer ends around Sept 21, but I have no way of knowing if that's what WGT has in mind when they say " available for a limited time this summer only."

WGTdbloshoe mentioned July and August in another thread, so it's anybody's guess.  I hope that they post a specific date but who knows whether or not they will.

I am already at level 93 but was waiting for the R11s driver at level 94; since it's High trajectory not med/high. And have played someone with it in a game. It shoots like a rocket off the tees. I am curious tho, is the R1 really that much better without high trajectory?

Since I started playing this game almost everyone stated, just wait until you get leveled up so you can improve your game with high trajectory clubs. Now I'm slightly confused by everyone wanting this med/high club. Any advice will help.

    Thank You

    Joe

I was thinking the same basically.  But, I decided to rent and try the R1.  I already had the R11s and loved it.  I went into it figuring I was just going to prove to myself I won't like it.  I tried out the R1 on all the holes I was worried about the trajectory on.  I bought the R1 the day after renting it and sold my R11s.  I have never had a second of buyer/seller remorse.

My opinion is rent it and see if it suits you.  Yes, you end up losing rental cost, but in reality, that is only a sleeve of top Nike balls.

Joe.  I am level 93 and played with the R11.  Went ahead and bought the R1. Sold the R11 back to WGT the same day. The meter speed on the R1 is slower (which I prefer) and the forgiveness is so much better......dinging abou 85% of the drives. Trajectory has not been  problem at all....absolutely no regrets in buying the R1
