I am asking on behalf of one of my members.

He is having a problem in that he has no access to his friends list, making arranging a game impossible. He does still appear on everyone elses (mine to) but he has no way of getting his list to function.

Any advice anyone? Has been the same for around 4 days

    Thanks

    Ian

This isn't  very fast - but - if he clicks on your profile, all of your friends will appear. If he then (in Windows) puts the cursor over an "avatar", holds down the Ctrl key and hits "Enter", a new window will open with that person's profile. He can then send that person a friend request until his list has been re-built.

As I said, not fast, but it'll get him there!

I have seen something similar.  Obviously, clear the cache and cookies and if that doesn't work, I would reinstall both the browser and flash.  Too, set the adobe flash player setting to unlimited.

    just a thought

How many friends does he have?

Problems have been reported above approx. 250 => drop a few.

    needs to troubleshoot it.
it depends on type of browser, add ons and even firewall settings.
best thing to start temporarily disabling all add-ons.
if it works, then he knows he needs to focus on browser/add-on settings
if that doesn't work, he might want to keep browser in 'safe mode',
and begin disabling and shutting down external internet related programs
like firewall etc, until he locates the source.

90% of these sort of issues though are browser related and bad configs.

    good luck.

This is just checking for a simple solution, but there are 2 tabs above "MY STATUS" which displays just above the friends list. Click on the "FRIENDS" tab and your friends list appears, click on the "INVITES" tab and your list of invites appears.

Otherwise all above are good advise.

He will need to reduce his friends list.

On his profile / wall there is a link above a row of his recent friends to VIEW ALL

This opens a new window with all friends, go to the LAST page (oldest added) hover your mouse over the (endless dogs and babies) icons to get their name, if it is a name you no longer need , Centre Click your mouse wheel on the icon link, (or right click and 'open new tab') - this opens that friend in a new tab, open about 5 at a time - from those new pages you can REMOVE FRIEND and close their page, Go back to yoru friends list and do the same for another 5 or 6.

    WGT

we need an easier way to do this.

check boxes next to friends names and options to send multiple message or delete.

Now, that totally makes sense.... so I wouldn't expect it all too soon :)
