First and foremost... typing in all caps is rude and most people look down upon that.

Will the swing meter ever be fixed? Doubtful.

In my opinion your complaint is valid.. it just that you're yelling and it's a typical complaint that I don't think WGT will ever fix in the next hundred decades.

Sarge,  have you read this post?  WGT's meter

I contend there are changes to WGTs Flash programming of the meter animation that could eliminate/reduce the stutter.  For example, animating the meter at 30 frames per second instead of 60 frames per second could take some load off of our video cards.

If our computers meet the specs stated by WGT, the game should run smoothly.

I get that there are a lot of secrets related to the swing meter. My question is simple. Is the relative speed of the meter faster or slower as the number goes up? ie does a club rated at 4 relative to speed have a faster or slower meter compared to 2?

Higher numbers there are always better for us - more length, more spin, better meter with "more feel" which is lower speed.

Ya... You're as wrong as wrong can be there pal.

When you're meter skips, as in jumps like two inches from the middle of the power band to the bark blue? Well ya that's probably going to be your connection.

When you get 'turb-meter' where the meter is moving along and then speeds up by a factor of 10? That's a meter profile being applied to your shot. Something you setup in that shot caused the particular 'timeline' to run against your shot.

There isn't just one meter profile for the game. Quite literally there could be thousands, more likely they're using a much smaller number. But if you record your game and then go back over them, say like 100 or so, you'll see the meter profiles being applied.

Take note of shots where you're in fescue, from like 150, notice how depending on club selection your meter will be fast n smooth, in another instance it's going to be slow and you'll get 'turbo'd, it's not a glitch or your system, it's the game.

Creating one profile for all players to use would be absolutely stupid in a game where the swing meter is based purely on a three state timeline. I mean it's beyond me why it's like that anyway, This game could be 'fixed' in about 3 days and CheatEngine would pretty well be useless and you'd see those rounds of 25/52 vanish. If dinging the meter is your ultimate goal it's very easy to do, and it's not cheating because almost every gaming keyboard and/or mouse comes with that capability built-in.
