  Re: The Michelin Challenge...  I'm a tour master (avr score 61.28).  Recently, when I play a practice round, I notice (sometimes) the view is different. Then  see that I'm teeing off from the tips.  Oh well, I say, their preparing me for whats to come.  I just played The Michelin Challenge & had to tee from the tips for 18 holes. I'm exhausted & someone get a chain saw & cut down that freak'in tree on #4 @ccc.  Why is this?  According to the rules, it's a tiered based tournament.  ---  just dandy

  yeah there is a bit of difference from the tips at Congo ...

  Ya know, shooting from the tour master tees w/ the black R1 has been a blast that won't last.  I just hate it when someone takes fun out of the game....  *=*  just dandy

  your not far off from them tees anyway , you will adapt , trust me .... i just looked at my conformation of that tourny , it says nothing about being tiered ???

  It remains tiered even though conditions may vary for some groups. Hope they spared you the Championship greens? LOL

  Thanks Al, I hear ya.  I suppose it's time for this old dog to learn some new tricks.  Now where did I put my pacifier?  ---  just dandy

  The R1 should be good enough for the tips :)

  About CCC#4: Some backspin may be necessary if you can't pass the tree to the right.

  The tree is on the left and definitely needs fbs to get over them if you want to get in the fairway. Already knocked a branch off proving it.  :-)

  TYVM for the backspin info...  I will be keeping a closer eye on the trajectory of all shots.  (not Jack Daniels - lol)   --  just dandy

  In moderate or heavy left to right wind, I play the hook...like on BPB#2
