  I'm glad your d@#@ programmers love scr@#ing with this game. It used to be fun but your vem and similar "updates" started messing with things. Come on a 12mph tailwind on a 172-yard shot with a 170-yard club off the fairway with a "ding" and the d@#@ shot goes 157yrds?????? That gentlemen is what comes out the a@# of a bull! I like the game but it used to be more fun without all you dinking around.  OK now all you "know betters" can tear me apart now!!

  why would you use a 170 yrd club into 172 yrds with a 12mph tailwind?

  if anything, that's got to fly the green even with g20's....so dunno how it fell so short. looks like you got a headwind which was indicated as being a tailwind.

  I also feel your pain.  Happening to me all the time lately in all ways.  Wind doesn't take at all either head or tail on many, many shots, I'm off by the wind adjustment.  Or, such as your situation, for me mostly it is dropping out of the sky way early, like 6 - 15 yards and sometimes that is with 2 mph winds.  Also elevation changes, especially downhill - I'm now working on about 70% of the supposed calculation (and what I used to use very effectively until a few weeks ago), but uphill seems to be fairly consistent still for me.  As to the reason for the club choice noted by tbe, you didn't say what you used as to type of shot (although guessing full) or how hard you hit it.  I very much fear that we are being assimilated into the VEM!

  the software has "screw the golfer" in it's system, how about 1 inch off the green, hammer it with a putter and it's doesn't move, or the 6 foot putt no break, flat lie, ping at 6 ft. it hops the hole and runs another 6 feet. Return putt is the same, ping again at 6 because "what the hell" and it goes 3 feet....software is laughing at us.....

  But regardless, and I know that these "strange shots" are occuring, but no more or no less that the "strange shots" on the real course.

  Perhaps WGT should just dump the wind meter, say "this round has moderate winds" and on the tee we can throw a few blades of pixelated grass up in the air to guess the direction.

  I just feel everyone wants to be spoon fed with the silver spoon and live happily ever after in a perfect world and we can all shoot 18 under and all live as equals. Too ideal?

  That makes me think of a Story from a long time ago when I was a young Man .

  I was so close to my First Ace  ,

  I was getting some Head wind , And Passed some tail wind ( Bad Timeing / Cheap beer / Some one made Brownies / VEM  )  

  Lets just say that My Putter never saw the Green and I never had the chance to Play that course

  Yeah I was major pizzzed, I did use a shot meter--suppose it could be off I guess. My point is still valid----the dinking around WGT is doing with this game is driving people away in droves and should stop. 

  As far as the "sliver spoon" crack--expected as much from someone, you did not disappoint me .
