Sometimes quitting can't be avoided. I have had to quit a couple of matches due to unexpected events here at the house. I think the best way to address the issue would be to add a % of completed or abandoned rounds on a players profile. Nothing shameful, just a simple number where we could see just how often a player bails.
This is actually in the works. It's called Reputation Tracking. A % assigned to each player so you can decide whether it's worth playing with them or not.
