    alanti:
the problem you have is the starter wedges are akin to using a hose with a clubhead attached to it - they are garbage and the worst clubs in the game, They are notoriously inconsistent and innacurate. Secondly the starters balls will not get any bite, regardless of the backspin you apply, especially with those wedges.

Word ...   You might also want to look in the forums under the heading And every thing else ,

Look for the Christmas In July threads  , Players and WGT are giving free stuff away .

Maby reply to one of them threads and one of Santa,s helpers might just Give you a PR of wedges or a Putter or even a stocking stuffer

Like Alan and Opy wrote, starter wedges, starter balls and spin don't mash well. However, a couple of Pings, combined with Srixons, should work much better. I wish they bring you nothing but joy. And if you have any questions on how they work (or infact, anything else about the game), send me a friend request and a PM and I'll do my best to answer you.

Thank You Alanti, Agreed, the Australian women's cricket team could teach the men a thing or two at the moment I think. Then again, I also found the best way to be a good golf player and pick up some good habits is to watch the women play. They appear to have more finesse and purpose to how they play with little to no bad habits. Again, I thank you for your valued advice, one of the most valuable tools to have in your arsenal when trying to master any skill (simulated or not) is the inherent advice granted by others that have achieved success through trial and tribulation before you.

PS Hope all is well Jure - been quiet around here!

Lol, I guess I was too vague, I already sent him a couple of wedges and balls. Although that thread is a great one and anyone could use more stuff. As for my well being, all is great, thank you for asking. Finally met someone great a month ago and finally ended 3 years of healing a broken heart :-) Combined with a very time consuming job, I don't really get a chance to play or leave smarta$$ comments in the forums ;-) I miss it a lot. But then again, I'm also having fun outside WGT now.

It is a really good game and I really do enjoy it and I too have had some of those fist pumping moments just as you do in real golf.

That's what makes this the "closest game to real golf."  :-)
