How can a player come in with a 38 on closest to the pin.  That would mean he would have to be 4 Ft from the hole in almost every shot.  Not possible with out some kind of help.

Nah, there have been much better scores than that posted many times with no help at all.

Hi Stu, I know that the score may seem too good to be true, but I would bet the player had great equipment and has a lot of experience under their belt.

All a CTTH takes is 9 shots, and some players might play that hundreds of times, taking notes each shot until they come up with a great score.

You have the starters clubs which are not very forgiving and certainly are not very accurate and with those will never get close to a score like that, but if you did play the coursehundreds of times, taking detailed notes of winds, clubs, power etc, you would get a vastly improved score.

Don't worry about other players scores and just try to do the best you can - set yourself goals and enjoy the game.

Welcome Stu - do yourself a REALLY BIG favor - don't get hung up on the "somebody's gotta be cheating ' cuz I'm not that good" kick.  Play, learn, and most important have fun, but , please, don't start pointing fingers - it isn't very becoming!

If these players played real golf for years they wouldn't shoot that score. I have a regular Mouse. These players most have some special equipment as well. I started the handheld camera for ABC-SPORTS. Years ago and have covered hundreds of golf tournaments throughout the US.

I have not been playing this game that long, but have tried everything to score lower. Oh well.

    Thanks,

    Best,

    Stu

    How????

Unless they have a custom mouse or some other device. I would bet a lot of money that if they played the game on my machine and mouse they wouldn't come close.

    Thanks,

Sorry  Stu didn,t realize you were new her ,. I just read your rant and fired back , As someone said before .. Make a scale for your power meter , mine is broken up in 30 part increments ,,, for example at 25 on my scale , with a 110 club i,m looking at 92 yards , And honestly i,ve taken more notes here , then i did in high school

    As I said ^^^^^^.

Obviously I do not know your computer or mouse, but if you optimize it for WGT your meter should be pretty good,

For the record I have never had a blistering good score in CTTH, because I don't play them very often, but if I play a course 10 times, and took notes I would bet my scores would improve a lot. This would include notes on exactly the power required, clubs and any adjustments for wind.

I am sorry that you cannot see beyond the fact someone must be cheating to to this. But what I would ask is you look at the player who scored that score and see how many rounds they have played. Practice does acheive perfection (well close to it lol) especially in CTTH.
