You are more then welcome to sell back clubs for the standard 25% sell back rate.  The only clubs you are not able to sell back are the starter equipment and the ez swing.  The Nike putter you are referring to can be sold in the pro shop.  Below are some instructions if you need them.

To sell back any equipment you do not want to keep click on the EQUIPMENT tab from your Profile page on the website. From there you will see a button titled SELL EQUIPMENT. Click that button to begin the process of selecting which items to sell.

Please keep in mind that Equipment that you can sell to the Pro Shop will be listed on the page and will have a checkbox for you to click if you want to sell the item. If a club is currently in your bag the word "Equipped" will be displayed. You cannot sell back a club that is in your bag. You will need to remove the club from your bag before you will be allowed to sell the item. The total value you will receive for the equipment you have selected will be listed in the TOTAL VALUE box at the bottom of the page.

Also, it is not possible to sell equipment to other players, but you have the option of selling items back to the Pro Shop.  All sales to the Pro Shop are final.

For detailed instructions, please visit the FAQ section on selling your equipment found at the link below:

take a deep breath and relax.

you can sell your clubs just not at a price you want but hey that the way its set up.  on your profile page there is a buttons says equipment, click it and i believe it gives option to sell it. However you cannot sell it if it is equipped, so you have to go to your equipment section and put a starter club or some other club in your bag and then go back and sell it

Now that you are breathing easier knowing you can sell your equipment, take one last deep breath cuz you are probably gonna lose it when you here this next part.

You only get 25% of what you paid for it.

    There i said it...im out

Before you can sell the club/s you have to unequip it first from your bag.

I bought the level 77 Nike putter and am not able to sell my level 51 Nike putter back. It is unequipped, and when I attempt to sell it, it tells me that it cannot complete transaction because it is equipped, EVEN though it isn't equipped.

    Cheers,

You'll need to unequip them, or remove them, from your Bagstand Plus

This, and you have to unequip the bag, too.

From one Kat to another ...

If you have a bag, you have to unequip the bag after you unequip the club you want to sell. From the game client, go to "change equipment".  On the bottom, there's an option to select bags.  Once you click on "bags", take the bag that's shown on the left and drag it to the right.  This unequips the bag.  Now click "save changes".  Check the equipment shown and make sure you don't have a bag shown.  If you don't, you can go back to your profile page and sell the equipment.

This bug has been around for quite some time.  Since it isn't costing WGT any money, I doubt it will make the list of "things that need to get fixed".

    Good luck!

    Kat ♥
