  Some players use (used to) use Zoom for putts. It was in the flash setting when you R click. I used it quite a bit. Some players whole pre-shot routine involved a zoom view of the putt. I watched the player play at Deviations site and many of the really skilled players use zoom to find the line on shorter hard breaking putts.

  I assume the elimination of the zoom feature is an element of the solution to a stuttering meter. If so, I suppose I'll learn to live without the zoom option.

  Ahh okay, well I always knew it was there but it's never been of use to me. And well I wouldn't say my short putting has suffered from it

  I got caught in the middle of 18 holes last night, resumed play today...meter is much smoother but a lot slower which I'm ok with...formula for putting distance is off now and uphill putts don't break as near much regardless of what dots say for me, anybody else??

  I'm assuming the old calloway balls are playing with the new hex ball code because the carry on my drives was a lot shorter even though distance was close, I have played Kiawah a certain way many times cutting over dunes and so on and the 1st 2 drives didn't get to the fairway, far short of the carry I used to get so I might be changing balls which was the intent of the update I'm sure....irons seemed more accurate/or forgiving, hit a 208 yrd shot within 5 inches of the hole(where I was aiming of course) which is a lot better than the 3 to 15 yrds it usually lands, but I noticed several shots seemed to be right on...might have been the ball, I can tell you this, I will have to change the way I play Kiawah a lot, the carry with a tailwind and full backspin was 20yds shorter and 15 on another with a driver thats been average 280-290 carry w/ a tailwind.

  Doesn't make any sense,why have a shot clock at all?,that's why we have the option for either 30 to 90 seconds,those who want faster play I suggest you only enter games with the timer you prefer,most old farts (60+) like me prefer slower play so we can make all necessary shot adjustments that can make up for slower reflexes...........restore the zoom feature WGT it really is an invaluable tool  imho....

  I hardly use the zoom. So it does not affect me anyway.

  Anything else happened besides one new club, and zoom taken away? Another hardly anything on a update.

  was kind of a joke and a random guess - there's got to be something different as to 'why'  

  besides - it made perfect sense to me lol

  Wasn't trying to sound derogatory Duff and was certainly not my intent just pointing out the facts of why there are different timer clocks for each players preference,peace Brutha LOL.....I'm banking on the fact that the zoom feature will be restored soon,thanks WGT :)
