Twice in the last few months I have lost my # of consecutive days played counter because I could not sign on to WGT. I get a screen which tells me the site is closed for maintenance. I have no problem with this but yesterday I tried to sign in 4 times to be rebuffed each time, now today I find I am back to 1 days consecutive playing. This seems to me to be a strange way to handle not being allowed to play. Can anybody explain the logic of this to me?

When you a course management sign, means site is down for maintenance and as was the case last night an update of new equipment and a new course.

We generally only get a few hours warning, but i think most occur on Wednesday, and usually round 5 -6 pm in my time. Its a necessary evil, wouldn't worry to much bout conseq days played, just have fun

They're usually about once a month for between 3 & 4 hours. You have the other 20 hours to get your consecutive days game played.

+1 you also pointed not too long ago that you can play just a single hole by accessing "golf courses" from "wgt community" above, which is applied toward consecutive days played to make the process even easier.
