Can't play at all now

  Guess I must be blocked from playing. There is no play button at all anymore. I can't login or logout. I have to remove wgt cookies and when logging back in it disappears again. No play at all. Might as well forget about playing now. It is all messed up. Did not happen until I was in middle of game and it froze. I am looking at the left and it says this"There seems to be a problem with your internet connect. A connection with WGT servers could not be established. Do you want to retry?

  It does nothing when clicking retry and every single site on the internet works fine on my end, but not WGT. That is not my internet connection at all. You guys have the problem, not me. Oh well. Thanks for while it lasted.

  yah , same here man, got booted from game, had same messages show up , but working fin now!

  Servers crashed or something.  Everything is back up for me. I got kicked out of a game, on the last hole... unable to finish.  Oh well, it happens.

  Clear your caches first.

   

  Once done to eliminate it in the future, after you click "play now"...copy that url for the game client, and paste into a dedicated playing browser for your home page...once that browser is opened, it will go directly to the game client.

  In the mean time, you can just use think link, or paste into a browser:

  +1 on both points!

  After today's (1Aug2013) WGT re-tweak update to yesterday's (31Jul2013) big WGT overhaul, I found I had to clear both Flash and browser (Com. Dragon) cache, along with cookies and browsing history, in order to get a clean, functional game window.

  Don't forget to reset your game options the way you like them. I personally think my game play is much smoother now, and I REALLY like meter action. 

  Downside is loss of right-click Zoom option, for analyzing approach setups vs green slope. My understanding of why WGT has eliminated all the right-click Flash options is that evidence showed that was the hack-route some 'cheat engines'  were using. Additionally, games were getting corrupted by certain combinations of accidental use of right-click functions such as 'Play'.

  It was my laptop. It went dead on me. No more using that one. I had to go to an old laptop, that is even older. So I am worried that I will not even get to play now, with being old. Just updating of what happened to me. I will try the game again with this old laptop, but right now its doing updates to windows, and making sure I got what I need on it first.

   The entire Play now section on your browser is a pop up.. So if your browser is set to block pop ups it will not show. Make sure your pop ups aren't blocked or that you have wgt.com set to allowed in your exceptions area.

  Not.  The entire Play Now section is Flash.  If it is missing on your old PC then try re-installing Flash on that browser.

  You are correct Andy.....My mistake, it is the invite from the main screen wont work properly with pop ups blocked.
