R1 L93 DRIVER GONE

  Was that 4 days or 4 hours? I saw the ad and thought I saw 4 hours but I closed it too fast and was only paying 1/2 attention. Whatever it is, anybody taking advantage of it needs to know you won't get 2 for $40. Buy the credits $20 at a time if you want 2. Moot if it's a 4 day boost.

  @Glossapade,

   

  I have not even used it yet..  I just bought it to have it... I didnt want to be with out it if it become the new best thing... Im getting out driving on a lot of holes buy the driver in the hands of others.. Also I dont use Nikes... and I can see a BIG dump off in how far I can hit compared the R1 and Nikes. Its kinda embarrassing. I think the R1 is made for Merion & other WGT course that compare to Merion. 

  One reason I have not used it yet is that I keep forgetting to equip it. (im doing so now)

  The thing I see off bat is that there is a new meter speed.. That give me 3 different speeds to have to eye ball.. I was really liking the two.. The forgiveness is awesome cus the new speed is making me miss the dinger... Yet... I dont see needing the forgiveness after I master the meter speed.. 

  One thing with the R11s is that it was putting my R11 irons in some really nice yardage gaps.. The R1 is going to be a tad different I would think. due to its loft and distance difference. 

  I have a leveling tip for you.. Play match play... with a friend.. and concede the holes that you can.. and really crank out some XP...  If you are in reach.. 

  The driver they release next  is going to be level 100 and by the time you get that one they will have one for level 101... So pick your poison..

  If your really serious about the Driver.. id get it.. cus you dont want to play every game after its gone thinking about not having it.. And as you stated, If you do like it you can get rid of your G20 for some credits back.

   I reckon I'll get to L93 with about a day to spare at the end of this Month, so it's a close run thing.

  Well it hasn't gone yet, but just a word of warning for anyone (like me) who was hoping to get to L93 before the end of August and is cutting it very fine. The new 'cut off' date, as stated on todays news items, is 27th August. Fortunately, I've managed to get more XP points than I was expecting and should be L93 by Saturday or Sunday.

  Why they didn't run the offer till the last day in August, I'll never know. Got to feel desperately sorry for anyone who misses out by those 3 or 4 days.

  It's because they don't work weekends. It's as simple as that.

  Yes Pete. Got to L93 and the R1 with just a couple of days to go before they took it off and it seems great so far. Trouble is, it took every last credit in my piggy bank to get it and being out of work for 12 Months, I can't really use my card right now. Wish I was doing better in our ongoing C.C. Tournament and in with a chance of winning a few sleeves, but afraid I'm not. ! Never mind....... I got the driver, so mustn't complain.

  Last time I checked the 31st IS THE END OF AUGUST!
