I strongly feel there should be a 'Wall of Shame' where people who disconnect mid-round have their names posted by those they ditched. I can understand this desperate hunger to keep points as low as possible but seriously - would they run off the golf course in real life at the sign of the first bogey??
It's more respectable to play the entire round, grind it out, try and recover lost holes and quit one putt short on the last hole so that you don't post a bad score (since it matters so much!) but at least see the round through!
