How can i become a tour master ? I have played 100 ranked rounds and my average is 66.45,do i need to play a lot more rounds ?

another question i have is,i see on other players stats that they hole a lot of approach shots,i only have one holed approach shot in 100 rounds,do i just need to improve a lot? i'm currently trying to get to level 59 to buy the G20 irons that were recommended to me in another thread when i asked about the R9's,should this help me?

I believe you need 40 ranked rounds in your current tier and a score of 63 or less to move up to the Tour Master tier.

( It's the number of ranked rounds in your current tier that matters not the total number of ranked rounds since you started playing. )

It's not necessary to hole your approach shots (although it is a nice feeling when it happens), but it is a good policy to learn whereabouts on the green you should place your approach shot to give you a good chance for a holeable putt, and by that I mean something relatively straight.

The level 59 G20 irons (which I've owned) are a good set to have. I never had the R9's but looking at the stats the higher trajectory and better forgiveness of the G20 make them the better option in my opinion.

You will like very much the G20 irons compared to your starter set, your stats for approach shots and putts (and probably holed approaches) should get better with the more accurate iron set.

thanks for your help,i will hopefully get to level 59 in the next week or so and am looking forward to ridding myself of the starter irons, maybe then i can hope to hole a few more or at least threaten to.
