Possibly a way to combat some of the cheats that go on.

Clocks as you have when playing stroke/ matchplay/ skins etc!!

60 seconds maybe, if the good players can play in that time, jobs a good ' un!

not sure on the idea - for me when i play single player stuff i tend to get called on by the missus or the lil one and often have to leave the game to tend to them or other things. it would be harsh to get timed out for stuff like this. fine for mps and multiplayer stuff as it keeps the game going for others.

In these types of game a simple continue button after the shot was taken would allow for unlimited pauses, but still keep a shot timer working.

I applaud any one for bringing ideas to the table.

For me RRs are something I take my time on.  I might swig a coffee, check the forums and so on whilst considering my shot.  I also can't help but think a clock would be as hackable as the meter speed and so on.  All in all a no from me.

And........lol.......you would be correct!  Somebody give this man a bone, hehe. Damn Jim you are learning fast....slow down, hehe. I wasn't going to go there, but since you brought it up.

When the dirty deed is done Jim anything is possible. :)

In real golf they dont get to stare at the one shot for 2 days, while playing the same course on the other computer mastering the shot without even taking it....

I would think the RGs would have a clock.... Isnt that when the clock is really needed anyways....  ?

Could you just see Tiger now... "dont rush me, I have 45 mins to take this shot"

I could see something along the lines of a time to complete a hole...i/e once you've hit continue and get to the tee box you have X-minutes to complete the hole, but limiting shot times I think would cause too many issues.

I think it would lead to all sorts of complications. It's the timer running that causes most of the problems we already have in multi player games. What's the problem with taking as much time as you need to read a difficult putt.

Like others have said, i get called away from the laptop quite often so that's why i prefer to play single player games.

lt was an idea, all l've read over the last couple of days is people having the ability to 'hack' the flash player and slow the swing meter down.

If nothing can be done to combat this issue then we will continue to read endless posts week after week and the accusations of 'cheating' will continue.

Maybe there is something that can be done, or maybe they (WGT) cant!
