I made tour pro last night and was stoked! I played a couple of ranked games by myself and shot +3  and a +6. I had an average of 71.6 before I played them. Now my average has shot up to a 79.33. I don't know how to describe that than any other way as a BALL BUSTER! I'll be getting a full set of G20's next friday and I'm pretty sure things will change from there. I read in anther post that the first 5 games after the change determine a new average and it will drop considerably after that. I do hope this is the case.

Question is, should I just play rounds that are not ranked until then? or just go ahead and suck it up? Sucking it up will definitely reflect my true average.  Any good advice would be appreciated. Practice rounds maybe? or what?

Relax, take a deep breath and enjoy your new tier. They will start to fall after your saturation period. Especially when you acquire those G20 irons. With the time you will be playing like your usual self again. I still have them myself and like the fact that the meter is slow enough to use the WGT B- ES balls( one dot of spin) with them. Especially when there are days when the meter is acting up or I'm just to tired to have quick reflexes with the R11 irons.

    Congratulations On making Tour Pro!

    thanx guys,

I failed to mention I am using the default square ball. I have some Call's in my bag but try to use them in tournaments. I'm not being cheap but just saving credits for my G20's.

    thanx for the encouraging words!

I made Tour Pro myself not too long ago.  Right now I have a 75.29 average, but I'm actually glad it is so high.  I've seen a few threads on the forum about how difficult playing from the Master tees has been for some players.  This game is already difficult enough for me from the Tour Pro tees, not to mention the change from Fast to Very Fast greens hasn't exactly been favorable for me.

It may not be the smartest or most prudent choice, but I've decided to hold out until level 79 before I upgrade my irons.  From what I've read the G20s are a great set and I'm sure they will help lower your scores, but I've read that the Rocketbladez are second only to the level 90 r11's.  With limited credits available to me, I don't feel I can justify buying the G20s since I'm not going to keep them long term.  By the time I hit level 79, I hope to have the Rocketbladez irons, a junior Versa putter, and 3x high trajectory wedges to go along with my Taylor Made driver and fairway metal.  Then, and only then, will I feel comfortable trying to tier up to Master.

    Good Luck with your journey.

I found Tour Pro to be the best tier, when you get your better clubs you'll love it. :-)

Could'nt agree more, Tour Pro days were great especially after I got better clubs. In my case I got the L47 Raptures, they did me just fine until I got the G20's. Mind Master and Tour Master days were fun too !!

Now at Legend and still in the transition stage, but starting to get it sorted out and having some fun. Love the new views !!

Anyway have fun,you will adjust and remember we have all been where you are and have come through it.

thanx guy, took a breather after yesterdays 2 bad games, 1 decent and one really bad. I'll get on it today somewhat maybe play a few matches with friends. I just recently started playing MP and find it way more enjoyable then solo. however, solo I can take a break and pet the dog, slap the wife, you know general stuff....LMAO
