Just acheived Master level after defeating same in match play.  Kinda excited about this, as I saw my game improve with the addition of a better 3 wood, along with getting used to the Nike Covert driver (3 lofts, people, 2 to use in a game!).

So now I'm wondering what I'm really in for. I'm making the assumption that I will have to play from the 2nd-longest tees for the most part, yes? Anything else?
If you see my equipment, would you suggest I upgrade my irons or wedges, maybe even balls and putters?
I am also wondering about WGT Nation, as I'm close to Level 90.

I would strongly recommend you get a third wedge, and at your level either the top end ATV's or Clevelands are the best available.

You might want to upgrade your irons and wedges.  At your level, you can get pretty much anything you choose.  Since you're using the pings, the 80's level G20's are probably your best fit ... but I'm working my way to the RocketBladez (level 79).  I've heard lots of good things about them.  On the wedges, either the 70's/80's level Clevelands or the high 80's level ATV's.  That's just a choice based on the irons you go with.

Your ball could go for a bit of upgrade as well.  From what I remember, the jump to the Master tier was the most difficult of all the advancements.  Have a good time with it!  You're at a level where the jump won't hurt you, since most of the equipment is available to you.

Well let me say congrats !! So far I have experienced the most variance ever ! I have struggled simply to make par after playing alot of golf . Seems everything changes I am hitting wedge shots with a tail wind that go less than pwr stated ...example 30 yrds out(fairway) hit exactly 30 with 7mph tail wind and hit it center it went 26 yrds just a recent example of wtf shots  ...personally i cant figure out what this game wants me to  do ! I have played over 60 holes of golf on diffrent courses and par is a struggle ...just shot 1under and average went up 69.79 to 69.8 ??? everything seems to have changed alot ...believe i am gonna just take a break for a bit ...not to neg you out but its going the wrong way for me ...hope its better for you . Upgrade is surly what they seem to want but the cost difference makes it impossible or should i say to expensive  until im at least level 74  ...bol

Second tee, same (very fast) greens. Not a big deal with good equipment, choose with care.

Should be fine for now, except for the Starter wedge. Get a good one instead, about level 40 minimum. A third one is recommended to fill up the free spot in your bag.

You might try Tour SD balls, Srixons or Callies (lvl 33) if you're prepared to spend some more credits in the game.

WGT will take care of an invitation to Nation at level 90. Unfortunately, there's not much benefit to expect.

I've decided I will be purchasing the G20s level 83+, and one of the wedges, probably the Cleveland 64 wedge. Is it possible for me to replace the LW with that wedge in my bag? Also is the degree choice OK? I'd get 80 yards max to it, higher than the starters' 50 yards, but less than the 52 wedge, which is 100.

    G20, good choice!

Their PW is 110 yds, so you might consider to get two new wedges. 50 - 75 is one choice (ATV), 60 - 80 is the other (Clevie, Ping). In a row with their punch shots you'll get a close sequence of nominal lengths to choose.

If you want only one wedge, a 60 yds would be my choice. For the 50/60 yds club you might decide for a lower quality like lvl40 - the longer the better to ensure a good backspin.

It's all a matter of preference but I found the Clevelands harder to master than the other wedges.

It is a hard club to master... I agree.

I use no spin now when I'm using em and that has worked quite good.

The slightest bit of B/Spin will start the ball moving...sometimes too much.

Congrats to the Op for getting promoted....   Every time you move Tiers and also your  average dropping....   the game will get harder to play. The best thing to do is not to get discouraged and keep playing until you climb the wall to the other side.

Happy ending: Bought the Rocketball +79s and so far so good. I notice the meter difference...easily the quickest of what I have..but I'll adjust. I also notice the natural spin. I don't use spin much but the responsiveness on the green is amazing. I just played Kiawah back 9, tourney greens...scored 3-under, bogey-free. THANK YOU for the great recommendation.

Down to under 200 credits, and am saving up for one of those 60-wedges.
