Now that sounds more like it, 2 years ago i can now understand it.

But why not go the whole hog like wildcat mentioned in another thread and name and shame any players who are still here and winning then and let the whole community know who they are (or give us a few clues then we can all play private eye)

He could have the top ten cheat earners and give us a few clues like:

Player 1 sounds like pi55 & 2nd name is similar to a metal skeleton???***

    ** example only

wanted people to know that there is cheating going on. It is more or less for the people who always thought that some of the top players used cheats. They are right, some of the top players do use cheats.

Then why say that ^^^^^^^ ?

If you only know YOU used a cheat programme.

More lies from a liar, or protecting your cheating 'friends' ?

Yup, must agree Andy. Why even come out and say anything then? Don't make sense to me.

Which was my original point.  If you are going to do something, do it right..............errrr, well.............errrrr, who the fekk knows.

I just find it funny.  I could have easily just come in here and tossed out "players cheat and I wanted you to know."  As could have anybody else.  That statement alone carries nothing with it.  If you are going to make such an erroneous accusation, you'd better come to the table with some serious ammunition..........or you're just a douchey whistle blower with asthma.

And I was one of them using a swingbot to get my low scores. Tried my swingbot a few months back and it still works with some tweaking. Myself and many others(not all)  who shoot low scores use a cheat of some form. I guess this is my AA meeting where i admit i do have a drinking problem. Sorry that i cheated you all by winning credits in ready-go's and tourny's

My guess would be that WGT is not going to allow this post to stay up. They should allow this post to stay up so people will know there is cheating going on.

I think WGT needs to address seriously this issue. Cheating is like doping in sport: It throws doubt on every high level performance...

If this don't stop soon enough, at some point any player posting low scores regularly will be under high suspicion... That's a not acceptable.

Believe it or not, there are players that can play well this game without any external help/tool.

I think if players are shooting 54's and 26's ALL THE TIME, never have a 60 or 30 then they  probably  should fall under a cloud of  suspicion.

Well except that one is not forced to finish all his rounds. Restart and withdraw are not shown in statistics. Only WGT can monitor this.

But I agree, if someone is posting very low scores on essentially every single rounds he plays (without the need to restart or withdrawing bad rounds), then something is fishy. But this we cannot know, as I said above, restart and withdraw are not shown in stats.

Some days, I personally cannot post a single good rounds even after several restarts for unlimited plays (and for single play I just withdraw). Typically, for the 3 single play free weekly tourneys (namely 9-hole, 18-hole and multiround) I have to withdraw 2 of them and quite often the 3 of them.

What I find the most disappointing in this thread is not the fact that someone has admitted to cheating. It is the fact that for the last 2 years this subject has become increasingly discussed and the problem has been predicted by many longer standing players of the game.

I find it very frustrating that concerns over cheating and concerns over the game becoming easier through continual improvements to distance, precision and spin of clubs and balls seems to fall upon deaf ears. These concerns were voiced by people who don't want the game ruined by these issues. It appears to me that is exactly what is happening and I find it very disappointing. The last thing I wanted this game to turn into is another TW online where if you aren't -5 after 5 you might as well give up, the reality is now that it has. Throw in the problem of cheats and you haven't got much left to cling on to.

Those players who enjoy the game for what it is and don't worry about competitive play will not be overly concerned. Those who play competitively are seriously scratching their heads and thinking what's the point? As a keen former player and observer of the game, it's been like watching a runaway train waiting for it to crash. If it hasn't already crashed, then it isn't far away from it unless some serious measures are brought in soon.
