I doubt if anyone has a good answer for this but here is the question:

If BO rounds dont affect you average, why do they come up when you search for ranked round in multiplayer??? and... why does it say "ranked" in the top right hand corner???

There you go again. Asking sensible questions. It'll get you nowhere. :-)

Ranked rounds have preset conditions based on the tier-tees, greens, etc. Ranked doesn't mean anything other than that it's counting on your own total for rounds played.

I believe it has to be this way to allow for multiplayer games to work with courses that don't affect your average. The Par 3 used to be practice settings only and was a hassle to get a group going.

They're just fun, a good way to get your eagle total up fast and very good for your hole in one stats.

I do think it's silly that scores on the par 3 course count as your lowest ever score though, a bit of on insult to those few who have hit under 50 on real courses.

I think having them as RRs was the only way they could get them in to CC tourney options as well as other WGT comps.

They add to your ranked rounds total but do not change your headline average nor count toward saturation of a tier for average thankfully.

They are a fun way as said of upping Hio and eagle tally, but they do also sadly impact on lesser stats being scrambling, sand saves, putting and best rounds. The latter being a system issue we seem stuck with.

Personally I am thankful for BoPar 3 only because it allowed me to bang the crap out of it to level up to 93 and get the R1.  My penance is that my stats are rendered quite useless, but I have the R1 so ...........BoPar 5 I personally think is a great fun addition especially for MP and A/S.

Well we have BO3 & BO5, if WGT are running out of ideas how about a BO4, only kidding but l bet it wont be long, as an attempt to try and satisfy the masses.

Well Best of wet balls they have named famous and hardest aint that hard, both collections are bullcrap imo. I dont understand they dont make some of the excellent blitzcourses to stroke, i would love go a roun i Netherlands, a change from usa and uk. They have the course made blitz, and i think they didnt only took pic's to that when they were so far from home and make a course.

    Egon
