Putter Suggestion

  Hello,

  Im currently Level 68 Tour master

  ive got the ghost spider lvl 33 and looking to upgrade.

   

  2 best options in my opinion: Max control putter (master+) or Odysse versa (lvl70+)

   

  Im used to the 15,25,50 increments.

   

  I wanna hear suggestions/opinions

  Wait till L77 and get the Nike Method.....but with the increments you are used to then it narrows the field...

  Take it you mean the L35 Ghost ?  So it makes sense to get L66 Ghost...

  Only putter at your level that has those increments.

  I'd stick with what you have before upgrading to a (seemingly) better putter..It will not make you hole more......

  Learn the basics with the tools you have and then you can make an informed decision later on..

  As alcaucin says, wait till level 77 and get the nike in my opinion, will take some adjustments to the increments mind, but during last free rental weekend I tried the versa and this ran a very, very close second and has the increments your used to. Both very good putters in my eyes after always using the ghost putters upto level 62 I think.

  I'm with the other two guys. Wait till lvl 77 and get the nike putter. Also get the SgtBilko putter scale. Have fun.

  The higher lvl Odessy Versa is better then the nike, compare the specs. The Odessy Versa is much more though. Depends on your budget.

  Just wondering, why many people like the nike more than odyssy, odessy are almost the same but has half a point more in balance.

  The increments dont worry me too much, i can get used to it very soon. 

  And, i dont have a budget, whichever is the best, ill buy it

  How did you come to that conclusion ?

  You couldn't hit a barn door if you threw the putter at it....jeez.

  Whatever gave you the idea that you were in anyway qualified to comment ?

  It's not really YOUR thread...you posed a question for public consumption ?

  To which I responded in good faith...

  I was only pointing out that, THAT guys opinion should be taken with a pinch of salt....

  ( I say pinch..what I meant was Mountain )

  I'm also trying to decide on a new putter.  Right now I think I have it narrowed down to the Versa (either one) or the Methond (either one as well).  I know some people seem to enjoy the Ghost Spider, but I think its just as ugly as sin so I don't think I'll be buying that particular putter. I've seen the Daytona Rossa mentioned a fair bit too but I think I'm going to need a little bit more forgiveness since putting is one of my biggest weaknesses.
