Eagles Nest...

  Just picked up an Eagle on the 520 yard Par 5 7th during Tuesday nights round.  Most unbelievable thing I've ever seen, my 3 wood landed just a hiccup short of the green, and rolled like a boss to inside 3 feet of the stick pin high.  2 foot putt for Eagle????  Hell, even someone who fails as bad at putting as me can't miss that shot.  Well, technically I can, but I'd have to be on Olympic 13 (I think that is the one), Merion 5 or 15, Oakmont 9, or Bethpage 15 in order to do so LoL.

  I ended the round even par after bogeys at 2,9, and 18, and a single bird on 12.  Picked up my Gold St George Smasher award and still my best ever score at that course, but a little disappointed to make an Eagle but not finish under par.

  See you use the starters on all your replays...so try these instead.

  (affordable and WGT ones available too with same characteristics)

  Neat.  Thanx for the Srixons mate.  I'll be sure to put them to good use once I have better irons and a Method or Versa putter.  I just feel like to get the most out of 'quality' balls you need quality clubs, and other than my driver, 3wood, and 2x wedges, I don't have the quality clubs just yet. I could buy the G20s if I wanted but I'm waiting for the Rocketbladez instead.

  And there has been plenty of times when I've been tempted buy the GI2-S or GI-S house balls, but they lack the 2.5 durability that I like to see in a ball so I've held out thus far.  My current approach to the game is save up credits, buy better equipment once it is unlocked, and then start buying better balls.  After a 69 at St George today I've somehow managed to lower my average to 69.84, which means that Master tier reasonably within reach.  I just don't want to get there before level 79 though, so I'll stick with my starters for the time being.

  made eagle a long one its on my first replay down hole #9 sirxon I not to late :(  just got it
