Reduction in handicap errors

  Is anyone else having difficulty in having their handicap reduced when playing well under their current handicap.

  In recent days I have scored a 9 under, two 6 unders, and one 4 under rounds but my handicap remains the same.  I have tried twice to get assistance from WGT but to no avail.  Is there a system problem?

  Looking forward to hearing from anyone else who may have experienced the same problems, hopefully with a solution.

  Ah...just re-read...were these Practice rounds?

  Only Ranked rounds affect your average.

  im guessing the 2x 6 under he is talking about is the 2 rounds on the best of par 5 course.

  firstly the best of par 5 course does not affect your averages.

  secondly he is confusing under par with actual scores

  I'd say that the solution is to buy another wedge. The 2 you have are for 60 yards and 100 yards. That's one hell of a gap.

  There's nobody in WGTland, not even you, because we have no handicap here. Therefore a "handicap error" like you titled here is impossible.

  It's an average, a special non-linear average of the scores in one tier.

  Thus, think in scores. Your recent 80, 69, 68 scores (ex Par5s) will not reduce your average of 65.38..
