I think many of us would be greatful if some day World Golf Tour develops a software that would enable players to side curve - slice - fade - draw - hook - the ball. Compared to real golf this seems to be the biggest handicap for the WGT-game.

I think you can do this already depending on where you hit on the meter. It WOULD be great if WGT would put out a video on how to hit draw or fade shots for players to learn. Hitting the "ding" on both ends of a shot usually results in a straight on shot but sometimes you need to curve the ball around a dogleg or a tree.

I would also love to see WGT beer carts on the course with some attractive cart girls like the female avatars created :)

    Draw 1    Fade 1    Fade 2    Draw 2

As Tux stated, to achieve a fade or draw you need to miss the ding by a long way and click in the dark blue area of the meter. The deeper you go into the dark blue the more fade/draw you'll get but you'll hit a shank outside the designated area. Above are some examples of what can be done.

There is a basic amount of shot shaping on here but it isn't a true draw and fade as anyone who plays real golf will attest. WGT have stated a few times on here that they are hoping to bring in the real thing sometime in the future.

I don't play IRL Courteney so I'l have to take your word for that, but when/if WGT do bring in shot shaping I hope it'll be easier to bend shots than it is currently.

People to properly hit a fade or draw by missing on the meter is not a fade or draw lol........Being able to move the golfer in his stance back or forward and what not has to be an option otherwise your just hitting or missing on the meter and not actually hitting the fade/draw.

But doing what you said does kinda give you the illusion of one but there is no control involved like that.

This kind of shot shaping resembles my real golf skills. More often than not do I hit a curved shot by mistake, and sometimes I succeed to repeat such action voluntarily.

Same here: It might be an error at times, and I provoke this "error" voluntarily if I want the draw or fade. And it's more than a push or pull, it curves! As long as there is no stance movement here, it is good enough for me to try and move my "ding" outside the previous or next line for the desired action.

It's not Tiger-like and therefore discutable if it is or is not a "real" shaped shot. But, it works as well as the straight shots!

As eluded to often I think FWAY is KING (well at least 2nd to in the hole or on green lol).  If any new player is reading this I am not saying don't learn to bend it.  I would say you can get to Legend and even TL playing all the courses with a good solid knowledge BS only.

If you are a new rapidly progressed Legend missing out on those precious 30 scores because of drawing / fading, save it for practise mode on holes where you will use it, until you know exactly what happens.....30s come without it.
