Been in a slump and average is still creeping down

  I Don't get this. I've been playing poorly and my average is still creeping down. I have rarely broken par in the last 2-3 weeks and my averages is going down. Any ideas? BTW I re-read the *** on chipping and pitching and am seeing improvement, still need better control of my putter, I am  literally  scared of 5-6 footers with sharp breaks.

  you have 400 + ranked rounds .. that means u have reached the saturation point for ranked rounds at your tier and only your best rounds are being used to calculate ur avg .. with each round u play, more bad rounds are kicked out in favor of better rounds to calculate you avg, hence the continued drop ..
