  A new driver, as as the same stats as the now gone R1 for $10 cheaper.....pure class WGT. All you people that never got the R1, l think you might have the better deal.

  Stupid max irons, and woods!!

  The only decent thing l can see is the mulligan option.

  But all in all nothing to write home about in my honest opinion!!

  About the driver; firstly it's not as powerful as the R1 and secondly the SLDR was due to be introduced to the pro shop as it's been on sale IRL for about 3 weeks now.  And what do you really hate about the MAX branded clubs?

  Yep SLDR level 89 and moved R11 back to 86 - a good move and more forgiving.Jury is out except for the mulligans

  Okay, so we have mulligans, but beware, it takes more life out of your ball, look at the ball wear indicator when taking your mulligan.

  You buy the Max irons, the stated yardage is 215-110, the hybrid is rated at 225, then the 3 wood at 240.

  The difference in distance between the 3 wood and the irons is 25 yds, possibly forcing you to purchase the hybrid to bridge the gap between the two. Hence now you can only carry two wedges instead of the three and dumping the hybrid.
