Have just played my 54th round as a master, and my average went up from 74 to 74.67.

    Isn't saturation reached after 40 rounds ?

    regards

    Confused

Yep saturation is reached after 40 rounds when you are master (at least it was the case when I was master).

However please note that best of par 3 and best of par 5 do not count among the 40 rounds. You need to play 40 rounds on normal courses (any course with par going from 70 to 72 is OK). Practice rounds do not count either of course.

    Regards

If the Bo3's don't count as a ranked round, then why are they included in my stats.

My understanding was/is that they do NOT affect the baseline score average, but all other stats such as ADP and putting and all the others are affected.

So it makes no sense at all to include them in the total of ranked rounds played when they do not count in the total for reaching saturation.

    That is just plain absurd.

    What do you say Icon.

IMO it makes perfect sense. The Bo3 and Bo5 don't effect your average so they aren't counted as ranked rounds that can move you up in tier. Even played in ranked mode, they're just practice rounds.

Of 54 rounds, 25 were plain Par3 rounds, 17 are Par3 hidden behind the CC tournament ""careful What You Wish For" Open".

Thus, 12 rounds have been counting against the Master average, unless one or two TP rounds must be counted in.

The average calculation shows that this is a fair estimate.
