    Do match play games count into ranked rounds? Are stats kept in match play games?

    No and no. In order for anything to count there needs to be a posted score in your history.

    Yes there is. I find it's the best form of golf. It's more one on one rather than playing against the course. Tactics can be used to get the upper hand and some of them can be honest. :-)

    I like MP but agree - stats should apply imho - no need to worry about scoring avg movement

    Matches may be rated not ranked, thus only matchplay stats and awards are kept, not the general skill stats and awards.

    But they DO change your scaore average.

    well wen I played match play for creds  I was master n beat a tour master n won creds and avg wnt down n I became tour master

    thats diffirent .. been discussed to death .. if u beat a higher tier, it will move ur avg down .. if ur apponent was also a Master, ur avg would have been unaffected

    I believe the reason for stats not counting from MP is because you can concede putts or holes in MP. The only rounds that are counted are rounds where we must tee off and hole out on every hole.
