    hyena64:

Corwyn, just wanted you to know how very appreciative I am of what you're doing for all here.  You do a wonderful job.

I'm withdrawing from the tourney. I went ahead & marked for MIck as we were already set to go.   I have stats SS if any should be needed.

Best of luck to all the rest of the way.       Thanks again.

With a score in the books I hope you may reconsider. I love having you play our Tourneys. You're what Tough It Out is really all about. :)

Thank you sir.  Even if I were to, I only have one legitimate score on record. Today's was simply a marker score trying to be sure & stay out of Micke's way in hopes of not affecting his round.

I want to second Cerino's comment here. David, you have been a stalwart of Tough-It-Out since the beginning. It's truly saddening that you're bowing out. I hope you'll reconsider.

FYI: We're all due to play our 2nd Round with our 1st Round partners, so your round could definitely stand as a real one.

Round 2 for Geagle1 and ColumbusStorm

    Geagle1 - long drive of 246.92 yards

ColumbusStorm - very luckily made a 58.7 foot birdie putt. and a 32 foot par putt (really a bird since I don't think anyone could reach that green in 2).

Royal St Georges is still a crap shoot on a couple holes to get a flat lie. I was relatively lucky and did not have any severe side hill lies (only one bad lie when miss hit a drive into a bunker). But need to practice for those side hill lies on Olympic as I recall from a past tournament.

    Great tournament Corwyn!

Wow Russ! That's a fantastic Total Distance Made putts amount. I do believe that might be an all-time TIO record!!!

Geagle: Nice drive! That will take some beating. Can you share which hole it happened on?

And congratulations to you and Micke (hobbe95) on posting a couple of very strong scores at RSG.

    UPDATE re 1st Round ::

I'm close to calling the first round finally done... But am willing to give the four remaining players one last chance today to play if they can. I know that they have all had some special circumstances (family illnesses, sudden major work commitments, etc.) that dictate the need for the most flexibility possible:

    Timbo1984  |  jlucky3333   |   Wesdogg75  |  GEHL13

    Corwyn:
Also, I'm going to allow Gehl13 to play his 1st round late if he can and wants to, once his internet is back up after Monday night. (If you remember, he suffered from Neil's disconnect part way through their game).
Since I've already committed to allowing Jordan (Gehl13) to play into today due to his internet troubles, and the unfortunate disconnect, I'm allowing all 4 players till midnight tonight to try and get their games in if possible. And I'm PM'd all of them with this information.

Please post in the thread if you can and want to play (in fact, please post either way so we know what's going on). Ideally try and connect with one of the other 4: see special sheet.

    Thanks, Corwyn

Great to hear you guys have a tee time and thanks for wanting to mark for others. Have you played any practice rounds? I've played quite a few and my scores are all over the place. I shot a 65 with an amazing round of putting and I've shot a 75. A 10 stroke difference based on the wind, lies in the fairway and how well I putted. It's amazing how RSG can be that way. I was hoping to play today but I'm still waiting to hear back from my pard.

GL to everyone on RSG. I think this is the course that luck(good, bad, or just dumb) plays the most influence in scoring. It's also why it's 2nd of the 4 rounds. After this, Olympic then Merion are about knowing the lies and how we manage them.
