jlucky and myself were scheduled to tee off Wednesday night.  We had to postpone however, as James was not feeling well. :( We were hoping to play again Thursday evening, but I have not yet seen James online tonight and I haven't received any new messages from him either.  I am supposed to leave town Friday evening and I'm not sure if I will have any time this weekend to complete my round at Merion.

If anyone is available to mark for me on short notice either Thursday evening my time (central time USA) or Friday morning (central time USA) I could use some assistance to get my final round in.  If not I may need to ask for a time extension.

Oneeyedjohn and I just finish the forth and final round, had fun in the game, not with the loading. Couldn't change clubs, distances or directions at time's. But it would have missed up Oneeye, so I found a way to get thru it, "TUFF IT OUT" (pun intended). I think we had fun chatting, I know I did, gotta laugh.  But I'm crying looking at these, LOL. Thanks Corwyn, CD and all that put up with the lag that I had.

Bah, ur too modest Dale, thought u played really well.........backwards.

Dale whatever his connection problem, had to put up wiv a lot, but he struggled through and finished, so I am eternally grateful.

    Thanks Dale.

I lost my connection halfway thro collecting stats, but Dale has them all.

Good comp thanks Corwyn & Cerino.

Sorry to hear that James is sick. Do note though that the final round was planned to go through to midnight Monday anyway, so everyone has an extra day through the weekend.

Inigo, if you still need a marker, can you repost with some more precise times this morning? Thanks!

And don't forget you (and James) are very much in the running for the GIR prize. You need to hit 12 GIR to overhaul Russ who is currently in 2nd place, and 16 to catch up with me.

Gosh, Dale, that sounds awful with the loading... and an heroic, selfless endeavor to finish the round for OneEye. That's real generosity from you. Thank you!

And great shooting OneEye! That's your second really strong round of the tourney to go with your 71 at RSG as well.

Congratulations Russ! What a fabulous score. It's wonderful to see you achieve an under-par round in TIO conditions. That's the Holy Grail! Bravo!

Ben and I are almost certainly playing Saturday night.

Also, fyi, I heard from Matt (bfghd) who forgot to let us know he was on vacation last week (and turned out not to have internet access), so has now officially WD.

And don't forget the special prizes on offer at Merion. So far, only 1 player has posted a CTTH pic from #5 (oneeye with 35ft)...

    Corwyn:
CTTH competition at #5: Post screenshot showing closest-to-the-hole location after your 2nd shot on this hole, and replay links would be great too. (1 sleeve of balls of players choice. sponsor: bhoese)

and, for fun... 2 prizes to be judged by the organizers based on screenshots provided in the thread (organizers decision is final):

Worst Lie  factoring in upslope vs. downslope, severity of sideslope, burial % and rough/sand/fescue/brush. Screenshots should be taken with the aimer at the default position. (1 sleeve of balls of players choice. sponsor: bhoese)

Best Save: to be judged similarly - the difficulty of the worst situation on the way to a par. Screenshots should be taken with the aimer at the default position, and replays of the resulting shot will be needed too.(1 sleeve of balls of players choice. sponsor: bhoese)

Other prize standings are reviewed in this post from a few days ago.

I got another message from James early Friday morning.  Turns out he had to leave town on business yesterday so he was AFK but no longer ill as far as I know.  He said he should be around until Monday, but with me out of town this weekend I'm not sure if we'll be able to meet up once I am back home -- I'm not entirely sure what time I will be getting home at the moment (although I'm fairly certain it will be some time on Saturday).

It is now just after 9:30am here in US Central time.  I should be free all morning and I am ready to tee off any time; however if no one is available in the next half hour or so I just may take a nap.  Tired Inigo is tired from late to bed and early to rise lol.

edit: 10:15 now and I can't stay awake so I'm off to bed.

Dale and I both hit cracking shots in to #5, mine just dribbled off left, and Dale's just ran through behind the pin in rough 7 yards away.

On #18 we had a slightly helping 9 mph wind, but still could not reach. I think u have to hit high right on fairway to get as even lie as possible, then u may have a chance.

Any wind against and it could kill ur round.
