    gsprink:
I want to thank Corwyn  for putting this on and I want to express my appreciation of this monumental task! While he is trying to assemble this entire thing, I am finding that I can't even get my own rounds in...

Having said that I regretfully and respectfully withdraw. I was barely able to get the first 27 holes played and I am now behind. I apologize to all.I run a country club and I have put on tournaments like these in the past and I know how difficult it is.

So, I would like to sponsor 1000 credits to the highest 72 hole score. I think that just getting these game played is an accomplishment!

    Thanks again everyone!!

    Gary (gsprink)

Thanks for the kind words, Gary. It's sad to see you bow out. I'm sorry that no-one was available yesterday evening at the time you had for your back 9. If there's any way you can and still want to get the rest of your round in today, you'd be very welcome. We do still have 3 pairings to whom I have granted extensions, so you wouldn't be alone in needing more time.

    remaining to play 2nd Round:

MatildaIgaly & DAZZA501 (Dazza has had family bereavement so their game to be rescheduled; extension is OK for day or two)

Kurtsbuford & Legaci (they had delays but extension allowed till Monday 2pm approx)

Wesdogg75 & jlucky3333 (started Sunday but got discoed. Hopefully trying again very soon!)

gsprink (played f9 with marker Sunday morning... and hopefully still able to continue...)

    -----------

And thank you so much for the 'consolation' prize offer. That's really generous!

I'm just about to post 3rd round pairings... (which include gary, just in case).

    Stay tuned!

    Hey Gary,

It's a shame to see anyone bow out of the Tourney but I want to thank you for your honesty about pulling out and sponsoring the High Score(Tough It Out) Prize. It sure is a struggle to be able to herd all the cats to get the games played. Finishing all 4 rounds,  regardless of score, is a major accomplishment for anyone as these conditions aren't normal to most of us. I always try to either sponsor the Tough It Out Prize myself or find someone to reward the player who took the most shots in the teeth.

Thank You so much for understanding the importance and coming through for the field.

    ~CD~

    3rd Round Pairings:

All details are on this new sheet of Time Availability

Please do use this new sheet, as several players' availability has shifted this week.

CerinoDevoti  & Legaci  [edit: this is a change since this morning!]

    BigInigoMontoya & ColumbusStorm

    JayO92 & GolfingJMan

    hobbe95 & MatildaIgaly

fredsf & gsprink (if Gary changes his mind and stays in! Else Fred to play with marker)

    bfghd & Wesdogg75

    filmslayer & togemag

    Geagle1 & hyena64

(please note change from earlier post, where I had filmslayer and seemorehair together; and note an additional switch for Neil who is now with Kurt; and Cerino now with Ian)

This line-up is based as closely as I can get it on Leaderboard position, but complicated by availability and the 7 incomplete 2nd rounds.

Good luck at Olympic! We're all going to need it!!!

Round 3 – Olympic: 18 holes, Default hole locations, Red (Easy) tees, Tourney greens, Moderate wind, Uneven Lies.

Here is the 3rd Round Score Submission link (Olympic).

FYI: Kurt and Ian finished earlier this afternoon... just waiting to see their cards etc.

Mati and Dazza are scheduled to play tomorrow, Tuesday.

Any news from Wes and James... ? (who have their interrupted round from yesterday to resume and finish)

That's wonderful David. Thank you for that offer!

We're doing everything we can to keep you in this thing, Gary! (Hey, perhaps it's harder to escape Tough-It-Out than see it through, lol!)

In other news, Wes didn't hear back from James, so has gone ahead and found a marker, and is out on the course now.

James: please post here in the thread a time that would work for you tonight, and we can see if someone is able to help get your round in!

... and I'd still love to see scores, and cards etc from the Legaci/Kurtsbuford game.

    Thanks, Corwyn

Here are all the screenshots from our 3rd round played earlier this afternoon. Our putting was less than stellar throughout but we managed to post a couple decent scores.

    Hi Wes,

I saw your score posting yesterday, and just wanted to check in with you. Are you just submitting a score, in which case it would be the 75...

... or are you wanting your stats to be counted towards the special prize standings?

If the latter, then according to our rules, I'd need to adjust the score, taking the average of the first four holes instead of their total first time around. (Which would mean a 77 instead!)

Unless I hear otherwise, I'm going to assume you want the 75 score, and no stats.

    Thanks, Corwyn
