Once per year, around this time of year, the Crump Cup (amateur) is held at world famous Pine Valley GC in southern NJ, USA.

On the final day of play at the Crump Cup, and for this one day per year, Pine Valley allows visitors! They will never host a PGA Tour event because the logistics make it impracticable.

This year's final day of the Crump cup will be played (weather permitting) on September 29.

So if you are in the Philadelphia or southern NJ area, you may contact the club for details on the Crump cup and when you may attend.

    Phone: 1 - (856) 783-3000

It's just two weeks (or less) away!

Thanks for the reminder. I've attended the Crump one time and it was so strange. It's like being able to go inside of AREA 51. Can't say I felt welcomed. It was more like tolerated for a single day. I think the members end up feeling like they slummed it for the day. If I can go I'll do it and try to sneak some pics. That's another whole issue with them.

     ;)

Sadly, I think they confiscate cameras and cell phones for return when you leave - but I doubt very much they perform the "airport" type screening. A flat camera phone might sneak through, if it doesn't yield a tell-tale click, and it better not ring! Make sure to switch to vibrate?
