Here you go, designing your own avatar is already available.

I would be very interested, and I think a few others would be as well, to know  how many you decide to purchase.

I guess they don't want a thousand different items added to the pro shop. It would make more work and probably less profit as people would hardly ever buy a full avatar again. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Indeed, just only adding a section of different "caps" would be very succesfull. Many players wear one. It's a small item and can be presented in numerous different types. This personalizes the avatar more, and of course you recognize the difference better. Think such a section (as with shirts) would enhance also the member numbers because more "personal". Thanks, Whiski

and it's my personal opinion that the minute anyone gets within 50,000 credits of having that total the price of a personal avatar will go up to 1,000,000. They don't want to do it and don't have the sphericals to say so.

Strange though that in Second Life the whole gaming experience revolves around building the 'world' and the avatars yourself.

Now, that's an idea! What would it be like to have WGT in a virtual reality? Sort of a cross between Second Life and Wifit, perhaps with 3D virtual reality glasses?

Wait, where do I patent ideas?........

Even many hardline players who can’t pass a day without playing, and who don’t have endless resources, will think twice. Or just stop thinking :o). Everybody knows how long they can play, using THAT amount of money just to pay for their balls. For me that must be almost a whole year of continuous play :o).

There must be a valid reason why WGT puts the pricebar for “personal” avatars that high. And I guess by doing so, in a way excluding the greater part of WGT-lovers, from getting their own identity more visible on the screen.

When I left school a few centuries ago, I got a degree in sales.

One of my life motto’s always has been : what should I do in a same given situation ? So, what should I do if I wanted to sell these “personal” avatars ? Making it THAT interesting, that it would not only catch the attention, but it would keep that attention, and finally get people over the hurdle to effectively purchase these advanced avatars.

I think I surely would play even more enthousiastic seeing my personalised avatar. Seeing a sort of own identity playing on the screen.  And that would certainly still optimize my drive to play. And would also enhance the chatlevel and multiplay in many ways.

I think most real lovers of this game will feel the same way.

As I am convinced WGT just wants to make it as comfortable for players the best way possible, I of course don’t know anything about their chosen strategy, concerning the future

enrichment and development of their wonderful game.
