Hello Everyone...

I thought I would just pass this along.

I just called the USGA to inquire as to the status of the Membership that I (many of us) won during the USGA Virtual Championship Qualifier earlier this summer.

They had initially sent to me a "Congratulations" email in middle July (right after the Qualifier) asking for Name address etc....and I responded that same day...and then silence.

This morning, the USGA told me that they have "just processed" the first of our Memberships and it looks like the "goodies" (hats bag tags etc) went out STARTING on August 17th.

(A related note - received an email this morning from USGA for a "Patriot Golf Day" promotion - and it actually had My USGA Membership Number - the first I had seen that).

Sounds like now is the time to keep an eye on our mailboxes.

I received the e-mail as well for Patriot Day Golf. Hopefully the "goodies" are on there way as well!

I still havnt heard a word even confirming my address or anything. Reported it to wgtniv, wgtalex, and wgt. STILL NOTHING. what gives

Received my hat today.Thanks WGT.

About USGA membership got e-mail long time ago but still didn't receive renewal of one from last year,and no book or anything from them.

Juan....

I received my Open hat from the WGT last Friday I think it was. It was mailed from the WGT headquarters so I assume that they received them in bulk from Scotland and processed them by hand. Since you are not from the US, your hat might take an extra week. Look for a normal looking package from WGT, no box.
