    YankeeJim:
By way of example, if I have a 15 foot putt and use the 50 foot scale (92 Ghost) one move gets that 15 feet. If I miss the ding by a pixel the putt will sometimes drop. If I use the 100 scale, cancel the first move (same as 50 foot scale, full move) and miss by that same pixel that putt is less likely to get lucky and go in.

I've always been a % guy and I know nothing about avatar moves so "cancel the first move" is a mystery to me! LOL

I'm thinking maybe the power is just a tad different between the two?

It doesn't matter what scale we use "a pixel miss is a pixel miss".

One way to look at it. I think we're talking about 2 different things here because I agree on the miss is a miss bit but misses on different scales don't necessarily get the same result.

I had noticed something very interesting when talking about green speed. If you are playing with TOURNAMENT greens, you have to hit the ball at least 4 ft less than your distance to the hole. For example: if your ball is 12 ft from the hole, you habe to shot it with a srenght of 8 ft.

If you don´t know how much strenght are you giving to your putt, you have to count how many times you avatar moves while you putting power in you shot. My putter has 25 ft of max. strenght and my avatar moves 3 times if i hit the ball with all the power. Then, you have to calculate you power doing 25:3... and that is something like 8.So when my avatar makes the first move, I know that I´m shootting whit almost 8ft of power.

I hope it helps with your putting, it helped me a lot.

A one pixel miss  I realize that this is a very old post, but can anyone tell me what a "Pixel" is and how to measure it from the ding line?

If I miss the ding by a pixel  There is that "Pixel" again.  I repeat, how much is a "Pixel"?

Or "the smallest controllable element of a picture represented on the screen".

In context, I think they mean as close to hitting the ding as they could get without doing so.

Its that part of the ding that you seem to keep missing and its causing you fits . :-)

Consider the thickness of the ding line a pixel. I'm sure it's literally wider than that but a pixel miss to me has always meant the thickness of the ding line.
