Problems with NoMans Club closing

  There were open tournaments when the club closed? These were for credit tournaments. Will WGT be refunding the entrants or paying out based upon the results as when the club closed? I am owed 75 credits (should be something closer to 500 if the open tournaments were paid out).

  I'd assume that the CC tourneys run their course regardless. Correct me if necessary...

  I agree Derek. I don't know what happened. You'd think we would get a better message than "closed" period. That Kleenex Cup was kind of exciting. I would have liked to see it finish out.

  Maybe DirtyDW had some kind of emergency and had to drop the club. It would have been nice to know, so someone else could have picked up and continued operation. Maybe they should monitor this club activity, before the tournament fees add up and take a "walk".

  I might be putting CC play on hold for awhile.

  The tournaments still run. However, I was sent a notification to play round 2 and I am now inelegible to play round 2

   

  Give me back my 40 credit entry fee!

  Outch!

  You were excluded because you were left by the CC. All were "left by the CC" due to it's closure. In such case, no player finishing, the credits fall to WGT - we've seen this before.

  The forum is not meant to settle such cases, you might apply to WGTdbloshoe's wall for help.

  In all honesty your issue is with the owner of the now defunct club, not WGT.  Having an emergency is not really reason enough to close the club, it would run perfectly well without it's owner for a while until time is found to hand over ownership.  In fact, since there was obviously enough time to close it, why wasn't ownership just handed over then instead?

  Why was the CC closed? If the owner was banned then WGT should refund. If the owner couldn't be bothered anymore, perhaps he/she should refund the credits.

   

  Not good at all to leave people hanging.

  It was a WGT issue with his account that caused the closure. It wasn't DirtyDW
