    Indeed.

Having recenty bought 4,000 credits to sponsor a CC tournament, a little love back wouldn't go amiss. Especially as WGT freebies will be going to lots of players who never spend a dime.

Fecked up way to treat a good percentage of the client base.

No more spend for me this year that's for sure.

Plus, you'd think someone from WGT would reply on their own thread. LOL

    Game soon.

I shall change my flag on 30th October, anyone have a postcode, sorry, zip that I can borrow for a day.

Not that WGt will be interested one bit, but Halloween or All Hallows Eve, has it origins in Gaelic culture ,and is something many western countries including USA adopted.

So to discriminate with their orange ball is just disgraceful.

EDIT: have just re-read the spooky ball news, and it says a free ball, but they will also have a special promo in the USA, maybe that's where the confusion comes from.

    WGTdbloshoe:
Get the new high-level SpeedBlade Iron Set from TaylorMade to add higher launch, more carry and less roll to your approach shots. High performance ratings for distance, precision and spin make these new irons a great choice for players competing at top levels in the game. Unlock at Level 75.

More choice fair enough.  I never knock that.  Are they the same as the Bladez, save level and price though?? Fair enough question I think.

    Not a fair question then???

Myself and another Master tier player played a round yesterday with him using the lvl 75 Speedblades and myself using the lvl 79 Rocketblades. We both agreed after 9 holes that the Speedblades had a lower trajectory than the Rocketblades. The difference was easily apparent when using the long irons.

Your mileage may vary, but my own observations lead me to believe they are inferior clubs.

Maybe we do all get a free ball, but that doesn't excuse a USA only special promo....

I to will be spending Halloween at my US vacation retreat.

Interesting.  I'm considering the Speedblades, but being at level 78 the Rocketblade set is also an option worth waiting for.

It's a bit surprising that the Speeds would have a significantly lower trajectory given the way they are being promoted.  Can you share a little more detail about your observations?  I would tend to go with the Rockets if indeed they have a clearly higher trajectory, even if they might be less forgiving (from what I've read elsewhere despite the identical stats).

Anybody else been able to compare these two sets directly under similar conditions?

Since my question above, there have been quite a few impressions posted about the Speedblades in another thread.  Thanks to all who contributed.  Lots of useful information.  -Keith
