Played Olympic Club was 3 under till i got to hole 5.

I hit the overhagning from tee, there is no way USGA would allow a sitiaution like that, players has to have a fair chance to put to the ball in play. Problem is you cant if the wind is from the right on that hole, only if you punch a iron on a 499 yard par 4. Luckly i birdie the nex 7 holes so i was doing fine untill i got to hole 16. I hit a overhanging tree again this time it was my own fault, but when i got to the ball i tried to knock onto the fairway but my ball went left eventhough i was aiming right, my ball was i the WEED 5 yards from me and my ball was LOST.... wtf i could pratical see the ball, well WGT kindly dropped me one of my own balls i tried to use the camara to see why i had hit the first ball the way i did but i couldent find an angel that i could use so i hit the ball again, LOST ball again.

This crap happens to often, and how can it be lost when you can see where it went

WGT thx for destroying my round with crap game design '

I would like the to ad a replay of the scond shot but i dont know how to

Firstly i like to say that hole plays here just like in real life. The over hanging trees play a major factor especially from the back tee.

Just ask Bubba Watson that took a 10 i think in Open when played there. Most of the pros were very happy to walk off that hole with a par.

That tee shot needs to played high and to the right. And.....with wrong wind you have to be perfect. Sometimes on that tee a miss ding equals trees for sure.

Now on your second shot i watched it over and over. Did look lil strange, but looked like was aiming into the trees.

Now on the first par 4 you were talking about ...yes ball needs to be very low and with wrong wind sometimes must play smart, and will leave a very long second shot. Another very tough hole. Which also played just like that in the Open.

Most of the pros took a beating on that course. I doubt any of them would be happy to play it again..lol.

Never know though sometimes when very close to trees crazy things happen.

Very unlucky mate. But don't feel bad i have done the same many times, it happens trust me.

I find Olympic to be the most realistic to real life course we have on WGT. Unless that was the first time you've played it from the tips, most all Legends know about the tree on 5. I think within 24 hours of it's release, we had threads about how to play that hole from the tips. I have no answer about what happened on 16. All I know is the course is like playing golf in a phone booth. Trees and narrow fairways all around. I just love it.

its not the first time i play it its one of my fav. courses, but the tree is not realistic. My point is if the wind is from right you have no chance to hit driver from tee, which is ***. Since is was 9 under thru 12 holes, with a bogey on hole 5 kind of tells i know how to play the course to some extend.

What about the balls i lost, they shouldent have been lost balls, and i was given no chance to see what happend one the first shot and no matter how much i aimed to the right, balls were just lost ???

To many un playable lies in the game in generel

And if it wasent for stupid pin locations the course would be to easy even from back tee. I think its 12 par 3 198 yards where the pin is placed on a rigde where the ball cant find rest, that among other locations are against usga rules, which says pin should be placed with a radius of 2-3 feet with level ground rule 16 A.3

Sure you do, play under with top spin, well less than full power and takes a lot of wind out of play.

Remember, not all drives have to be 300+ yards.

If I were you Martin, I would contact support. Being able to play a ball but losing it no matter what you aim at, seems very much like a programming error to me. Send the replay to support and tell them what you've told us here to see if they have anything to say about it.

Next time you play that hole Martin, do not move the target marker, hit with full topspin and about 95% of the power and slightly miss the ding to the right.  That should take that tree out of play.

^this is what I was talking about. Right away many folks ready and willing to lend a hand and pass along course knowledge they had to have learned the hard way.

Martin, have you tried just hitting a left to right  fade around the tree? Works just fine. In right to left wind I've even hit between the branches and the ball ends up dead center fairway over 300. It's risky and you have to hit the ding. Just so you know, I also had to hit that stupid branch several times to learn how not to hit it.
