Matchplay black screen of death

  1up thru 3 holes in 9 hole matchplay at St Andrews. Click "Continue" to go to next hole and screen goes black. I can hear the wind whipping in off the sea, I can hear little birds chirping away (hardly any trees so not sure where the birds actually are, but never mind), but screen remains black.

  Thinking quickly I come out of the game window and click on the "PLAY NOW" which will mean I get asked if I want to go back to the game. But no, it doesn't!

  So now my opponent (whose name I can't remember) thinks I'm an arsehole for quitting, which I didn't. And I assume I have a defeat against my name.

  I have the same problem. I have a new computer. When I play in google chrome- it logs me of 1/2 through a game. When I play on Explore- I can't use the space bar & it's hard to adjust to the focus of that screen. Any Suggestions?

  Have you allowed Adobe Flash to always run in your plugin settings? Have you tried a different browser to see if the issues is specific to your chrome browser?

  I am constantly getting disconnects in matchplay.  Using Firefox.
