If you are allowed to bet on a HIO, it should be able to be counted towards your HIO total.  I have a total of 5 HIO's, but none are in my stats

    2- Skins Challenge

    2- Match play Challenge

    1- practice

I even won 4k on the last HIO I got.  Disappointing when it doesnt show up in my stats, and I can assume plenty others are depressed about this also.

HIOs are only counted in stats for ranked stroke play games. This would include tournament play.

    Cheers,

It would be nice if they included HIO from full-round competitions that involve both regular tee shots and putting but it should not include practice rounds. The USGA even addresses HIOs in match play and the fact that they should count if the round is completed. They shouldn't count if someone drops out and an official winner isn't declared.

Golfsmith has a very easy to follow HIO rule explanation on its website.

While it would be nice, I hope that WGT focuses more on fixing what is obviously wrong with the company and the game before they begin looking at less trivial issues like this.

Even more important may be new features.

Yes, yes, I hear what you are saying ...... NO!!!

I myself have dropped 2 x HIO's during scored matchplay events without being recognised.

Then you have the person whom I know that dropped an absolute beauty, 321 yd HIO on the 10th @ STA. Not recognised as a HIO or a Dbl Eagle, and why????, because HIO's are recognised for achievements on par 3's and Dbl eagles on par 5's in ranked games.

Although it seems unfair to most, and maybe so, but let us consider all those who have holed out during novelty events,ie Blitz games.

I was the very first person to hole out on the par 3 Challenge, and yes I will claim that honor, and although I got my credits, I did not have that HIO credited to my stats.

That's Life .... lets move on.

    Rodent .... OUT!!!
