    JazzX:
My rank is Tour Pro, achieved over at least 2 months, I know how to play this game; and this wasn't right at all - and I've only recently noticed multiple bugs. The last couple of updates MUST be responsible.

I'm a Tour Legend and i'm still learning....................

1st of all that happens all the time with my old Odyssey putter and the 1st Nike I had for some reason....2nd you were probably on the right setting it is just a glitch however you can't see the power setting after you hit the ball....at least I can't and I have tried...

Twice a game my game hits it 300 feet even though the putt is 10 feet. It has cost me about 50 game scores by doing this. Any help would be appreciated.

    Never(!) trust the "caddie"!

Make checking the clubs and ranges an integral part of your preparation!

Start with the surface - "fringe" putts always have a long scale.

Also, I usually increase the putting scale for less stroke power = slower swing.

My beef has always been that I select the no caddie option so why do I have a caddie for putting. It should always be the smallest meter and let me adjust up from there if more power/distance is needed

I shut off auto caddy and select myself

I do not use caddy and still get duped by the wrong meter every once in a while. Another problem is my driver getting changed to a pitching wedge causing all sorts of bad language, and lost balls.

Cannot stress enough the point already made that it is YOU that determines the shot you play.

Take the caddie's advice and then determine if you agree or not.

    Pretty simple actually.

I found this in the new version playing non-country club events.  When putting, if I select club 1st then adjust aim, the game reverts to it's suggested selection.  Example:  16' putt downhill 5".  Caddy suggests 30" power club.  If I adjust to 15' power club then adjust aim, caddy reverts to 30" club.

Otherwise caddy not a problem on tee or approach shots.  I still have to be sure my club selection is right but caddy doesn't change it once I make the selection.
